How Skivo ratings, recommendations and customer standing work

Home  ›  FAQ
Where do Skivo ratings come from?

From real completed jobs. Customers rate providers and venues here on Skivo; practitioner scores come directly from Famasa, where companies and practitioners rate each other after every contract. Nothing is pay-to-rank.

How does the "first choice / next best" recommendation work?

Pick a field and role, and we rank all practitioners by their Famasa rating and credits. The top profile is your First Choice; if they're booked, the Next Best is already lined up — and so on down the list.

Why are conferencing and accommodation rated separately?

Because they usually are separate businesses — a great conference room with poor overnight accommodation shouldn't share one score. Skivo keeps the two categories apart so you can mix and match the best of each.

Do customers really get rated too?

Yes. Providers rate customers on clarity, cooperation and — most importantly — paying on time. Customers who fall below a 2.5-star average after 3 ratings are suspended and cannot request services or post reviews. Good clients get priority treatment.

Is Skivo free?

Completely free for customers. Providers and practitioners build their profiles free on Famasa; their ratings flow here automatically.

Can a bad rating be bought or removed?

No. Reviews can only be posted from accounts in good standing, and providers can't pay to hide them. Fraudulent reviews can be reported and are investigated before removal.
