Gauteng has the densest concentration of training providers in the country — which is great for choice and overwhelming for decision-making. Here's how to find the genuinely good ones.
Start with your course, then your city
Search the specific course on Skivo and filter to Gauteng. You'll see institutions offering it in Johannesburg, Pretoria and surrounds, ranked by real ratings rather than ad spend.
Weigh ratings and accreditation together
A top rating plus confirmed accreditation for your qualification is the combination you want. One without the other isn't enough.
Consider delivery and logistics
In a big metro, factor in location, traffic and whether online or hybrid delivery suits you better. Many Gauteng providers offer both.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are Gauteng courses more expensive?

Can I study online from Gauteng?
Yes — many providers offer online or hybrid options. See our online vs classroom guide.
